To enhance the riding experience, KTM Nepal organized the first-ever off-road adventure experience event, KTM Adventure Day, at Hattiban Resort, Lalitpur on February 11. The day-long event was scheduled for owners of KTM adventure bikes and riding enthusiasts. The motive of the KTM Adventure Day was to provide an opportunity for owners to learn essential techniques of trail and off-road riding. The event saw riders attempt trails and off-road-based drills under the guidance of KTM Nepal professionals. Similarly, they were also trained on the technicalities of their machines, setup, controls and riding postures, etc. Moreover, the participants who emerged as winners on the trails were awarded exciting gift hampers and prizes.KTM recently introduced the 250 Adventure in the Nepalese market at a price of Rs 7,49,900. The 250 Adventure gets the same BS6-compliant 250cc, the single-cylinder engine found in the Duke 250. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 29.6bhp at 9,000 rpm and 24Nm of peak torque output at 7,500 rpm. The bike comes with the same trellis frame with inverted non-adjustable front forks along with a rear mono-shock. To keep the price in check, unlike the Adventure 390s cornering ABS and the quickshifter+, the Adventure 250 will arrive only with offroad ABS. It also misses out on traction control.KTM Nepal plans to regularly conduct the Adventure Day event in the coming months.A look at a few glimpses from the event Photos: Anurag Yadav
